The book Play Golf Better Faster, The Little Golf Bag Book, is a handbook that helps athletes who play golf master their abilities and perform more accurately. It is a book that metaphorically suggests the possibility of keeping it on you at all times to use as a guide when you practice or even when you are waiting for the bus because it has more body-to-mind-related information than just lifting a gold stick and swinging to hit the ball as far as possible. Having focus and mastery over your mind with a positive mindset and thinking will improve your game tremendously, which is what the author focuses on in this book.

What I liked about the book was the emphasis on the body-mind relationship; usually, all handbooks just draw some illustrations and tell you how to hit the ball rather than explaining the importance of positive thinking and how it affects your performance. Laying smarter, not harder, is the best route to take to guarantee your success in the game or in any path of your life. and having structure and a plan in your life will help you have more long-term success than a short-term, coincidental one.

The author, Kalliope Barlis, has managed to turn a well-structured and organized set of information and experience into a guide to optimizing one's performance and building their best as quickly as possible. When someone looks at it from afar, they could say that two years is a long time. However, if you don't invest the proper amount of time to master the techniques and have a good grasp of the game inside and out, your success will only be temporary if it actually happens.

I would rate the book 5 out of 5. Being an athlete myself, I found the book to be very helpful and beneficial in improving one's mindset regarding the game as well as his skills and performance. He would be more aware of what he was doing and would learn how to handle stress and anxiety during competition. I found the book to be professionally edited since I couldn't find any mistakes whatsoever.

I recommend this book to athletes in general and golf players in particular. Even though the book's title clearly states how to play golf better, I found its information could be beneficial for athletes in any sport, especially the chapter about the mind. People who also play golf as a hobby and want to play in a decent and correct way could also benefit from this book.
