A CHRISTmas Story by Albert Detore is a beautiful retelling of the Nativity narrative. It captured the essence of love and warmth with colorful pictures and rhymes.

A children's book about Jesus's birth is a great idea. The book intricately portrayed each scene. It brilliantly conveyed the spiritual meaning of Christmas while remaining relatable. The story begins with a girl named Mary, who is engaged to Joseph. Their journey to Bethlehem and Jesus's birth follow thereafter. As the story uncoils, the pure joy and happiness of holy Christmas are depicted.

The best thing about this book is that, even though it's a Christmas-based book, it can be read at any time of the year. The awesome visuals act like a cherry on the cake. The author's perfection in delivering a divine message in a child-friendly format is clearly visible. The poetic verses create a rhythm, enhancing the reading experience. Moreover, the rhyme will keep the attention of the young minds.

There's absolutely nothing that I disliked about this book. In fact, I am really glad that I picked up this book. It's a wonderful way to share the story of Christ's birth. Children are familiar with Mary and Joseph; this makes their understanding clearer. The rhyme makes a perfect bedtime story. The language is pretty easy to understand. The visual representation makes it easier to connect to the narrative.

As I loved reading this book, I will rate it 5 out of 5 stars. I could not find a single error, which means it's an exceptionally well-edited book. Although it's a children's book, I think people of any age group can read it. I recommend this book to parents and educators who are looking to convey the spiritual meaning of Christmas to young readers. If you want your children to know the true meaning of Christmas, this is the book for you.
