Step into the world of excitement with Kelly and Tom in Dorothy May Mercer's "E M P Honeymoon." This thrilling adventure unfolds with surprises and courageous individuals determined to prevent a disaster. Imagine a Caribbean honeymoon, promising sandy beaches and endless romance. However, the story takes a gripping turn when a visit to what seems like an innocent pigsty shop reveals a covert terrorist plot. Sergeant Tom and Kelly are thrust into danger, racing against time to avert a catastrophe. Mercer's storytelling skill transforms their dreamy honeymoon into an exhilarating adventure, leaving you eagerly turning the pages to discover what happens next!

This was a fast-paced book with an intense plot! The plot and characters are like a magnetic force, pulling you in completely. What caught my attention the most was how the author weaved different points of view with clear titles, making the story effortlessly understandable. Characters like Agatha, Sharon, and Steve inject an extra dose of fun into the narrative. Speaking of fun, the hilarious flirting between Steve and Sharon felt like a silent ship sailing in the background; their chemistry added a unique charm. And then there's Kim Jung Lo, a character who stood out as a true role model. Choosing the path to save the world, his commendable role in maintaining peace is nothing short of inspiring. The seamless teamwork displayed by the characters further adds depth to the narrative, showcasing their dedication to protecting their country. This book is a thrilling ride with characters that leave a lasting impression!

In conclusion, "E M P Honeymoon" by Dorothy May Mercer propels readers into an exciting world of danger and excitement. The book's flawless editing adds an extra layer to the adventure, ensuring a smooth and captivating journey from beginning to end. Personally, I found nothing to dislike about this book. The perfect blend of suspense, humor, and fantastic characters made every page a joy to read. Therefore, I give "E M P Honeymoon" a solid 5 out of 5 stars. I recommend it to anyone who loves a good adventure, a bit of mystery, and a story that keeps you hooked from start to finish.

For a minute, your plot description reminded me of Jack Winnick's series (which I love)! I like your description of the magnetic force pulling you in! The book has all the elements I enjoy, with a fast-paced, intense plot, adventure, and humor! Not to mention the mystery! I might have to give this a chance. The cover and title, for some reason, don't have the draw for me; however, your review absolutely does! Thank you for sharing your thoughts on this book. I enjoyed reading it, as always! Until next time...

I've heard a lot about the Lara and Uri series and even picked it up, though I haven't found the time to dive into it yet.
This particular book is incredibly engaging, exploring topics like nuclear weapon, Space Force, and electromagnetic pulse. Despite the title suggesting a romance theme with 'EMP Honeymoon,' it's more of a couple on a honeymoon dealing with an EMP situation. It's not a typical romance book but more of a fast-paced, relaxing read. I think you'll enjoy it!
Your kind words mean a lot to me, and I'm glad to hear that you found my review enjoyable. Thank you so much for your enthusiastic comment. Looking forward to our next bookish exchange! Until then... :tiphat:

I think it would be quite an odyssey to have to unravel a mystery, instead of enjoying a fabulous honeymoon. The important thing is to enjoy the great adventures that this book tells us. Thanks for your review!

Absolutely! Unraveling a mystery does sound like quite an odyssey, especially during what should be a fabulous honeymoon. However, they do go on another honeymoon to make up for that. Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment here. I really appreciate it.
