Barlis emphasises the importance of the mental aspect of the game, offering insights on maintaining a positive mindset, coping with setbacks, and utilising Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP) for improved performance. The book, based on Barlis's journey from beginner to professional, has practical exercises and valuable advice, making it suitable for golfers of all levels.
 
The book's clear and concise writing style particularly appealed to me, as the author adeptly simplified intricate golf concepts for easy comprehension. This unique quality makes it a valuable tool for skill improvement and game understanding. Additionally, the inclusion of illustrations enhances the learning experience by helping to internalise the techniques and insights discussed throughout the book. By integrating valuable life lessons with golfing wisdom, the book underscores its broader relevance. Emphasising the mental game, the author guides readers in maintaining a positive mindset, staying focused, and overcoming challenges on the golf course.
 
I found no fault in the book. The author paints a compelling picture of golf, unravelling its intricacies in a way that will resonate with different readers. I didn't find any errors, and the book is very well edited.
 
The book stands out due to its rich imagery, as the author skillfully paints a vivid portrayal of golf and its intricacies, turning it into a captivating metaphor for life. Her unique communication style simplifies complex golf concepts, making them accessible to a broad audience. The book's thoughtful structure, coupled with engaging interaction, is commendable. Clear explanations and unwavering encouragement distinguish her approach, revealing golf as more than just a sport. Valuable life lessons and golfing wisdom are seamlessly integrated, with a focus on the often-overlooked mental game. The book provides practical guidance and serves as a deeply motivational resource for golfers aiming to enhance their mental fortitude. For all these reasons, I give this book 5 out of 5 stars.
