Audible books is an application that let's you listen to a book instead of reading. It allows you to sit back, relax, and enjoy a book without having to strain with words on a page. To use Audible books, you look up the book you wish to listen to, or browse the list of books on their website, like you would an ebook. Read the description, make sure it is a book that would suit you. Then you buy it and download. Finally you sit back and listen. If you like to listen while driving or maybe during work, this would be perfect for you.

I rate this book 2 out of 4 stars. Being a very visual person, I had a hard time focusing without the words of the book in front of me. My mind kept getting lost while trying to focus on the words that the gentleman was saying. With a written book, you have to actually sit down and focus on what you are reading, an audible book gave my mind to much time to wonder on other things.

I did like that I could listen while doing everyday housework and while driving down the road. The website was real easy to use and gave you many options of books to choose from. Someone who can multitask and keep focused on more than one thing would benefit from this greatly. My problem was I had to keep hitting the rewind button to listen to certain parts again because I just could not concentrate fully on the book.

With this application I was given 2 free audible books, so I will try it again and see if I have better results with my next book. It is something that I would definitely enjoy if I bought the audible along with the ebook, that way I could listen and read at the same time. I could switch back and forth between the book and the audible when I needed to see the word to get the whole meaning of the story.

Overall this product would be great for someone who can listen and fully understand without the visual of words. It was just not the book for me. Maybe I should try a simpler book next time that does not require such close concentration. It is a product everyone should at least try and see if it works for them.
