[Following is a volunteer review of "Play Golf Better Faster: The Little Golf Bag Book" by Kalliope Barlis.]
In Kalliope Barlis's Play Golf Better Faster: The Little Golf Bag Book, readers are not just given a guide to golf but one that can also improve day-to-day life. The exercises and self-improvement methods shown are both concise and easy to follow. Kalliope does a great job at defining what you can do and following that up by nudging you along to better yourself.
One piece of this work I like the most is how it can apply to golfers of any level, whether the person is just starting and wants a hand or has been playing for a while and wants to improve their game. Another thing I like is how both the written and photo descriptions are clear and straightforward to understand. The book's fast pacing and almost conversational flow make it utterly good at hitting points that a reader needs to recognize without bogging it down with unnecessary add-ons. In conclusion, this book does exactly what it's been made to do in a practical sized object to take anywhere with them.
Though I don't have anything I particularly dislike about this work, and the writing is well-edited, I do have to say it will probably take some time for most people to understand the concepts and practice them well. Some of the exercises lean more toward people who have great imaginations. Although, it does have excellent tips for those without an active imagination.
I would give Play Golf Better Faster: The Little Golf Bag Book five out of five stars. This book is written in such a way that anybody can take advice from it and enhance themselves as long as a person has patience combined with persistence to chase their goals. The guide is also grammatically sound and edited well. I would recommend this to people in their teens and older who are looking to improve their golf game along with themselves.
