Review of Winning the War on Cancer

[Following is a volunteer review of "Winning the War on Cancer" by Sylvie Beljanski.]
The compelling nonfiction book Winning the War on Cancer by Sylvie Beljanski details her father's attempts to use natural therapies to treat cancer. She shares the knowledge she's obtained from her father's research in this book.
Dr. Mirko Beljanski uses natural therapies to cure cancer and other serious disorders. The writer discusses her father's hard work and the path his career as a molecular biologist has led him. At the time, a vast majority of natural therapies were not recognized, but Dr. Mirko’s research produced some encouraging findings. When the president was diagnosed with prostate cancer, Dr. Mirko was asked to help. This helped the president’s condition and prolonged his life in office before he passed away. Dr. Mirko anticipated that his services to the government and the community at large would be fully acknowledged and appreciated; thus, it was a major setback for him when the government took action against him. This book was an excellent resource for learning because it covers a wide range of cancer-related medical procedures. The book emphasizes how we should stand up for what is right and captivates the reader with the author's feelings as she writes it. The author talks about how some plant extracts, like Rauwolfia vomitoria, can kill cancer cells. This book reveals secrets that the general public is not aware of, which makes it both persuasive and enlightening. The author discusses how pharmaceutical corporations harm the health sector while making money off of it. The unique title of this book alone makes it a pleasure to read, especially with the medical terminology thrown in.
I loved the book's succinctness. The book's plot is further enhanced by the author's extensive collection of real-life encounters. I liked how this book addressed cancer in general and also noted that even if two patients have the same kind of cancer, their response to treatment would depend on how well their immune systems are functioning. Despite the large number of medical phrases and terminologies employed, they are easily comprehensible and understandable by everyone. There isn’t anything negative or anything I would like to change about this book. I loved everything about it. I think it’s professionally edited, as I couldn’t find even a single error in it. I would rate this book five out of five stars, as I found it quite interesting, engaging, and informative.
