This Book is a great read. Explains how people should not be afraid to publish their books. Scott Huges also give you 6 steps to follow in order to be able to publish your book. He also gives out some good pointers and to know that you can achieve anything not just publishing a book. In this review you see what I have read and what I have interpreted.
I give this book a 4 out of 4 because it really hit all the points that people need to do and accomplish before they publish their book. One of the points he hit on was not be afraid of failure. We are all afraid of failure in one way or another and we need not be afraid to achieve our dreams because then we would not be able to know our strengths and weaknesses or to be able to fulfill our dreams. Scott wants you to not let fear get in the way of achieving your dream of publishing your own book.
Scott Hugest also mentioned that you have to sacrifice other things to achieve your dreams. This could me wither money wise, dedicate time to your book instead of watching TV, or dedicate your lunch time to research instead of playing games. There's always something to sacrifice to achieve you goals and dreams because into end the reward would be great. Once you see the reward you are going to want to keep reaching and striving to do better.
Scott Huges wanted to connect with the audience by sharing his personal story of him trying out for basketball and when he didn’t make the team it crushed his spirit and made him think he wasn't good enough to make the high school team. In the end he didn't try out again because he did not want to be rejected again. Point is after he was rejected his love for the sport dwindled but who’s to say that next year he could of made the team. He let his fear and failure outweighed his goal and that’s is what prevented him from trying out for basketball again and possibly having a career.
All in all this book makes me want to sit down and finally put out a book. I’ve always write a book but I was fearful and scared of what reviews people would leave. I know that if I do want to write a book in the near future I would have to take a chance on myself and take the bad reviews and make my next book even better. If you want to publish a book and don’t know where to start and are afraid read this book. It will give the courage to get out there and take a chance.
