As a PR professional your job is to ‘guide those unsure about a path to take or decision to make’ and in Trust Signals, by Scott Baradell, that’s exactly what you’re going to learn.

This book is designed to give you a detailed dive into the field of PR, including where it started and where it is now so you can improve your business no matter where you stand now. Each of the chapters is short and provides a great deal of information in a small number of pages. It does this by offering data, specific details, personal stories, anecdotes, and more to help you along. Plus, it offers top takeaways at the start of each chapter, so when you need to refer back to anything in particular you can find it easily.

It helps you figure out the most important areas to focus your time and energy as well as taking a look at what you need to know about things like the influence continuum, buyer personas, trust profiles, trust signals, influencers, paid and organic content, and a whole lot more and in this book, you’re going to learn what they are and how to use them (or create them). That way you can jumpstart your business and make sure that you’re on your way to a positive outlook faster than you might have thought.

The old styles of marketing and PR don’t work anymore. You need to know what’s working now and what’s changed, and Trust Signals is going to help you do exactly that. Things like knowing your customers so you know their trust signals and can utilize those to grow your business and creating a website that sparks trust are crucial first steps (actually there are 24 trust signals related to your website). But there’s so much more to the process and that’s what you’re going to find out with this book.

You’ll be able to read through it once and get a great deal of information in a short amount of time. But this is a book you’re going to want to put on your shelf and refer back to frequently so you can continue to improve your marketing and beef up your PR whenever you need to. You’ll learn things like building trust amongst your customers, getting third-party validation, building and maintaining your reputation, and even things like emergency planning. All of which will help you to be a better PR professional or a better business owner (or both).
