[Following is a volunteer review of "Karmic Selling" by Stan Gwizdak.]
Surviving a terrible car accident is what made Stan Gwizdak realize that there are more important things in life than wasting his life in a corporate job. This life-changing event has been enough to give him the courage he needs to quit his toxic, energy-draining, and time-consuming job and start his own business. Stan's determination to make his thoughts and working ideals the foundation of his new firm is the main reason he earned an incredible reputation in his line of industry and aided him in acquiring many business and personal friends along his journey of success. Stan's fundamental motto, "What can I do for you?" is his inspiration for writing this book to share his experience and help anyone willing to change their life for the better.
Karmic Selling by Stan Gwizdak is an inspirational book; it shows how a near-death accident can change someone's life. I have to admit that Stan is now one of my idols, and I hope one day I can walk in his footsteps and embrace his life's principle of helping others. It warms my heart to learn there are still others in this world who care about a stranger's needs and are keen to help without expectations. The fact that Stan surrounds himself with those who share his ethics is another reason for my deep admiration for him. His "clean heart" approach and his profound belief in karma surely resonated with me.
There are many facets that I like about this book, but the quotes at the beginning of each chapter are my favorite parts of the book; they describe and summarize each chapter flawlessly while giving meaningful wisdom. The step-by-step explanation, the organization of the book, and the way he delivers his message in each chapter show his passion and clearly reflect his spirit. He succeeded in making me connect with his words on a personal level; I already feel he is a friend of mine. The stories his friends and associates share in each chapter to help convey his messages prove his commitment and honesty. I also found the cover extremely expressive, especially after reading the book. I think it fits the subject perfectly.
One of the examples he uses about a potential client in the vehicle manufacturing industry demonstrates he isn't a know-it-all person but a normal individual who makes mistakes like everyone else; the difference is that he is brave enough to acknowledge them, which demonstrates the integrity of his words. I also found his portrayal of the hesitant suits having alligator arms a hilarious fact, especially when I tried to imagine it.
Other than a few repetitive parts that I feel are made on purpose to drive the point, there is nothing to comment on or dislike in this inspiring, well-organized book. The language is simple, and the chapters aren't long, which makes this a pleasant read. For all the above reasons, I gladly award this inspiring book 5 out of 5 stars.
I recommend this outstanding book to anyone who wishes to change their approach to life or start their own business.
