My Trip to Adele by R.I. Alyaseer and A.I. Alyaseer tells of three different people brought together by an Adele concert in Verona. Through their journey they each come to realize different truths. They all come from different walks of life looking for meaning in the music of Adele.

There is Elias, who lives in Rome but is originally from Morocco. Elias lost the woman he loved eight years ago. He runs into a palm reader who claims there is a way to reunite them. Then there is Yaser, married to Miriam, living in Las Vegas. They are unhappy in their eight year marriage. Yaser is looking to find himself again. The third is Nadia, a single mother, living in Jordan. She decided eight years ago that she wouldn't be her ex-husband's property. She wants to take her son, Waleed, to Verona to see his favorite singer, Adele.

My favorite character was Nadia. She was my favorite because she is strong and independent. She questions her reality and what brought her there. While all the characters developed well, I especially liked the way Nadia saw things.

I think all the characters found something through Adele. This story shows the power that music can have on a person. It also shows how it can impact ones soul.

Each of the chapters is narrated by a different character in the book. I also liked that each chapter is named after an Adele song that has meaning for that character at the time. Every chapter ends with lyrics from the song, that the chapter is named after, which I enjoyed. I feel that it adds another level of depth to the story.

This book will not only bring you on a wonderful journey through music it will make you question some of the beliefs you might hold. It will make you take a look at marriage and your thoughts on love. There are many questions raised by each of the characters that will make you stop and think. These people all come from different cultures. They are all united through Adele and her music.

I really liked this book. I think it was written well. However, I did notice a few mechanical errors. The plot developed well through out the story. The character development did not disappoint. I think it was had a beautiful message. I'm glad that the author's decided to self-publish this book. I would give it 3 out of 4 stars.
