Review of The Elephant(s) in the Room

[Following is a volunteer review of "The Elephant(s) in the Room" by Denny Laake and Monica Laake Beavers.]
The Elephant(s) in the Room: Another Sammy the Weasel Story by Denny Laake and Monica Laake Beavers is a children's picture book that follows the unusual case of mysterious elephants in the house. The story begins when Kramer the Dog complains to Sammy the Weasel that there are elephants in his house. Since that story seems implausible, Sammy decides to check it out for himself. When the two returned to the house, they searched every room. However, did they find any elephants? Read this book and see for yourself.
I must point out that I quite enjoyed this short, delightful, and entertaining story. I especially liked the personality of the main character, Sammy. I enjoyed his spontaneity and casualness. I admire his carefree outlook on the world and his calm and playful approach to potential problems. Too often, people exaggerate and think of worst-case scenarios. It is necessary to go step by step through life. On the other hand, and in my opinion, Kramer represents all of us, that is, the majority of people. Elephants, on the other hand, represent various anxieties that people face daily. Also, I must praise the captivating illustrations that perfectly follow the occurrences of the entire story.
There is nothing in the book that I did not like. I enjoyed every aspect of it, from the concept, the choice of characters, the execution of the idea, and the illustrations themselves. Also, I didn't come across any errors, and the book seems exceptionally well-edited.
Considering all the above, I give the book 5 out of 5 stars. I enjoyed it and have no reason to give it a lower rating. What I like the most is the symbolic approach in which the authors teach the readers meaningful lessons.
I would primarily recommend this book to children of kindergarten age and to anyone who likes picture books. It would also be an ideal gift for any bookworm child.
