[Following is a volunteer review of "Snatched Up to Heaven!" by Jemima Paul and Arvind Paul.]
The book "Snatched Up To Heaven!" by Jemima Paul is a gratifying and exhilarating reading experience for the reader. It talks about the experiences of two children as they are taken on an excursion to heaven and to hell later on. The two children Deepika and Priyanka narrate their experiences of heaven to their mother, who in turn interprets their visions and gives appropriate biblical references.
The children's vision of heaven is divided into different segments. The first part documents how they were taken to heaven. It speaks about their mode of transportation and how they got to heaven. It also talks about who accompanied them to heaven. The second part takes place in heaven and is described in length as how heaven looks like. One thing that is likable about the book is the attention to detail about the heavenly surroundings. Heaven was described as seen from children's eyes, and it was quite commendable that the mother provides her interpretations of various scenes along with the backing of biblical passages.
The next series of events describes the children's heavenly experiences and their meeting with Jesus. The children described how heaven felt and what they experienced in heaven before they finally met Jesus. The children next described the appearance of Jesus and how he treated them. The children go on to describe the events that take place in heaven, the beings in heaven, and the Bible in heaven. One thing I like about the book is that just as the children were shown the beauty of heaven, they were also shown the horrors of hell.
The children were shown hell with Jesus taking them every step of the way. This part of the book talks about their vision of hell at length and goes on to describe what hell was like, the people in hell, and the Bible in hell. This part also talks about how there were kids in hell and how they got there.
The book "Snatched Up To Heaven!" is quite suitable for new Christian converts and Old Christians who are seeking to solidify their Christian life with proof of heaven's existence. I rate this book 5 out of 5 for its detailed description, originality, and impeccable writing style.
