Stevie is a boy with a very high and colorful imagination. While most children count sheep to fall asleep, Stevie's dreams manifest his magical imagination into the kind of vibrant adventures and delightfully absurdist tales that dance at the very edges of possibility. When sent to bed, he lets his mind's eye open and allows his imagination to go on free range. But he had a problem. However, there is a problem. He finds it hard to fall asleep initially, and he wants to get that fixed. He wrote a special tree letter to all the animals, requesting that they each give him good-night kisses to solve his problem. Only after the second good-night kiss can he fall asleep. The word went out to all the animals and every species. Will all the animals in Stevie's neighborhood grant him his wish? I love that the book started with beautiful quotes from different people, like Mark Twain and Albert Einstein. It sort of prepared me for a good reading experience. The book's dedication is also uplifting, as it encourages children to be curious and seek knowledge. It also made them aware that they were capable of achieving the things they set their minds to. The author also ended the book with lovely quotes about children.

I also love that the author gave the readers permission to evoke their imagination. Most often, authors paint the pictures for the readers to enjoy, but in this book, the readers are given the opportunity to pair them themselves. Our imaginations are endless, and I let mine run wild while reading the book.

I love how the author subtly describes the different features of different animals in the book, like the four stomachs of cows and what those animals eat. This book not only builds the imagination of its readers but also educates them on the different animals in the animal kingdom. It's funny, interesting, and easy to remember. This will help kids remember the different features of animals and what is unique to them. By listing the signs, the author also assists children in determining whether animals have kissed them during the night.

This is a good book to read to children as a bedtime story; hence, I recommend it to parents. I recommend it to parents so that they can deliver it to their kids. You can trust that it will bring giggles and smiles to your child. I rate it 5 out of 5 stars because I dislike nothing about it, and it was exceptionally well edited.

The commentary suggests story events have enough grounding in reality to teach relevant facts seamlessly while still feeling magically absurd. Balancing whimsical charm with substance is an art.
