Wandering through 'Inner Trek' by Mohan Ranga Rao felt like tagging along with a buddy on a heartfelt trip to Mount Kailash. In this engaging tale, Mohan, a businessman caught in land troubles, makes a promise that unfolds into a delightful adventure.

Mohan's storytelling is like a painter sketching out the details of the trek. Every bit feels vivid, pulling readers into the ups and downs shared by Mohan and his wife. The pictures, especially those showing off Mount Kailash, make the adventure more than just words on a page.

The spiritual parts of the story hit deep. Mohan's tales of dipping into Manasarovar's sacred waters and learning to let go stir emotions. The book becomes more than an adventure; it turns into a heartfelt exploration.

Surprisingly, there's nothing I didn't like in the book. The writing is clear, and a handy glossary helps with tricky words. Mohan's sprinkle of humour throughout keeps it light and enjoyable.

Now, about the rating: 'Inner Trek' easily gets a perfect 5 out of 5 stars. The book is neatly put together, offering a smooth and thoroughly enjoyable read.

Going into more details, the narrative skillfully takes you through challenges like high-altitude treks and the Himalayan terrain. Mohan's initial hesitance makes the story relatable. His funny stories during the journey make the narrative engaging.

The book not only shows the physical challenges but also dives into spiritual encounters. Mohan's meetings with spiritual guides provide not just insights but also lessons about spirituality in the Himalayas.

In conclusion, 'Inner Trek' is a treasure for all kinds of readers. Whether you're seeking inspiration, dreaming of a trip to Mount Kailash, or just wanting a joyful read, this book has it. It's not just a travel story; it's a heartwarming adventure that shares experiences and inspires a sense of exploration and self-discovery. Dive into this delightful read; it's worth it.

I love this kind of adventure story. The summary reminds me of the three movies: Wild, Into the Wild, and A Walk in the Woods. If they make this book into a movie I would watch it. Thanks for sharing.
