In Play Golf Better Faster: The Little Golf Bag Book, Kalliope Barlis presents crucial skills and practices that are not only beneficial for golf but essential for maximizing life achievements. The initial focus is on the mind, advocating for neuro-linguistic programming to shape our thoughts effectively. Barlis underscores the significant role of the mind in enhancing golf performance and attaining desired life goals. Subsequently, she outlines and elucidates the necessary skills for mastering golf, encompassing both physical and mental aspects. Practical steps to enhance the overall golfing experience are also provided.

I gained valuable insights from this book, and I believe its lessons extend beyond golf, proving applicable to various aspects of life. Before reading, I lacked a clear understanding of golf, prompting me to explore this book. It not only sparked my interest in golf but also revealed the brain's inability to differentiate between imaginations and memories of what was performed, emphasizing the potency of our imaginations in realizing dreams. The author's consideration of diverse golfer types and scenarios, coupled with the book's concise and direct approach, added to its appeal and made my reading experience enjoyable.

Initially, I believed the book lacked images until I reached the appendix, where relevant pictures were included. While these visuals were beneficial, their placement proved inconvenient, requiring scrolling to the end of the book to reference what the author explained earlier and then returning to the initial page. Despite this, it did not diminish my overall interest in the book, and apart from this aspect, I found nothing to dislike about this book.

I rate Play Golf Better Faster: The Little Golf Bag Book by Kalliope Barlis five out of five stars, despite the mentioned drawback. The presence of only two errors during my entire reading suggests that the book underwent professional editing.

This book proves valuable for both current golf enthusiasts and those interested in the sport. While centered on golf, the wisdom and techniques it offers are applicable not only to various sports but also to life as a whole, providing insights to maximize one's overall experience.

Hi, Esther, You did a nice review of this book. I read this book too! I do play golf. This technique of neuro-linguistic programming is so easy to use. One just has to take the time to practice it. A lot of golf is mental. It is so easy to be distracted or lose confidence. This technique helps you reprogram your mind in seconds. It has helped me enjoy the game more. Golfers should keep some space in their bags for this book. Thank you for this informative review. :techie-studyinggray:

I always wanted to learn how to play golf, but I never imagined that someone would create a book about golf that also covered how to maximize "life achievements." Your review made me want to read this book. Very good.
