In [We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies] by [Matthew Tysz], the narrative unfolds within the intricate fantasy realm of Voulhire. Owned by the Emperor of Lullabies, the sea surrounding Voulhire conceals a history of political intrigue and conflict among the Emperor's sons. The author adeptly weaves together diverse plot threads, providing readers with a comprehensive view of [Voulhire's] life.
This captivating fantasy introduces Galen Bray, a central character on a quest to master the blacksmith trade. As Galen navigates the challenges, the narrative delves into various elements, including the coexistence of two worlds, Cosmos and Caromentis, the eviction of Lord Meldorath, and supernatural occurrences in Meldorath's castle. The interconnected threads form a compelling and enjoyable narrative.
Beyond its fantasy elements, the book bravely addresses societal issues such as pedophilia and immigration from conflict-ridden states.
The meticulous book is exceptionally well-edited work and earns a well-deserved 5 out of 5 stars, offering readers an immersive and seamless experience.
Recommended for a mature adult audience, the book contains mild sexually-charged scenes and occasional profanity. While the title and cover may appeal to younger readers, it's crucial to note the content's adult themes. I eagerly anticipate the continuation of Galen's journey in the next installment of the [We Are Voulhir] series.
