Little Stevie was a beautiful kid with a big smile. He enjoyed playing and spending time outside, and he really hated it when he was sent to bed while it was still daytime. He thought no kid should go to bed before dark. Unfortunately, his parents were the ones to make the decision, and he couldn't do anything about it. He couldn't sleep, even after his parents kissed him goodnight. A brilliant idea came to him. He immediately started working on it. He hung announcements on trees, asking every animal and creature out there to come and give him a second goodnight kiss. He thought this would help him sleep. You can grab Stevie Tenderheart Books: A Second Kiss Goodnight (A Bedtime Story) by Steve William Laible to see how this went and how everybody responded to his request.

This is another wonderful book from the Stevie Tenderheart collection. I just like how the writer knows exactly how to talk to children. I admire the engaging details and how he talks to the kids throughout the book, not just tells the story. The book was funny, and the writer managed to throw teasing comments here and there. I believe this created a rich experience for the kids.

The book is also educational. It provides a good amount of information about animals. It mentions different types and gives information about their behavior. The book also focuses on giving personal advice to the children throughout the book. It links the advice to what's happening in the story, so it can be well received.

I enjoyed the book and couldn't notice anything to dislike about it. It received exceptional editing. I didn't notice any mistakes. It gives you all you need from a children's book and more. Therefore, I rate this book five out of five stars.

The book suits young children who can read. It's also a good pick for parents who want to read their children an amazing book with great value.
