The Elephant(s) in the Room: Another Sammy the Weasel Story is a children’s book by Denny Laake and Monica Beavers. The plot consists of Kramer the Dog and Sammy the Weasel investigating the cause behind a strange noise, suspecting that there might be elephants in the house. This fun and outstanding story will keep little children entertained and curious as they become little detectives themselves.

My expectations were nicely met with this book. First and foremost, its eye-catching cover will urge children to take the book off the shelf and explore it. Additionally, the great and fun illustrations will keep them focused throughout the process. The book is written in a manner that encourages kids to come to their own conclusions, and it teases their mindset just enough to go through the story smoothly. I also think that the two characters that the book contains keep the story more alive and interesting. Additionally, I didn’t come across any grammatical errors, and therefore, the book was exceptionally well edited.

There were no negative sides. I think every aspect of the book was well-managed and entertaining.

For the flawless editing, the author’s interesting writing style, great illustrations, and a nice cover, I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars.

I would recommend this book to parents who have children aged between 3-6 years old. I think that the story’s length is appropriate for this age. Most kids are able to detect and differentiate animals at this stage, so I think once they understand the meaning behind every illustration, it will be more fun for them to explore it. I think the parents will easily decide whether or not their kids are ready to have fun with the book after quickly skimming through the pages. Also, one of the authors has several other stories about weasels, so if the child likes this story, it is easy to grab the next story that’s similar.
