Daniel Friedmann’s Roadmap to the End of Days is a non-fiction book that was written with the intent to give information and a glimpse of the past and the future. I definitely experienced goose bumps upon reading this book.

This book is all about the history before and after the creation. It explained the different views of the different religions about the End of Days. It talks about the Cosmic Creation and Messianic Era. The book looks back almost 6000 years ago, which leads to a pattern that is happening in the present. It gives the preview of what the future might become.

History of mankind can be trace back with the help of Bible, the Torah and the Qur’an. These are the different sacred writings of the three largest Abrahamic religions, the Christianity, Judaism and Islam.

Science and religion are typically contradicting each other, but in this book, the two agree in one thing, time has a beginning, so it must have an end. Only in bible, it speaks of God and human. The biblical chronology is consists of three stages namely, the creation time, humanity history and 7th millennium.

Cosmic purpose is all about the purpose of human on earth. Its’ sequence is said to be creation, pre-history, 6,000 period of history and finally, the end of history, after the End of Days. It seems so easy but there is something that is getting in the way to our destination.

Free will and the Divine Providence are also mentioned in the book. How we obtained our free will and what should we do about it is also discussed.

Despite my simple summary, this book is really interesting. It gives a lot of information that will make the readers re-read the bible. This book made me realize that I lack knowledge of our past. Information given in the book is supported by tables, which is a proof that this book was carefully researched and written.

I like how Daniel Friedmann started and ended the book. Using rhetorical questions will surely catch the attention of the readers and encourage them to finish the book. After reading the book, it made me think if the path that I am taking is right.

I give this book a rating of 4 out of 4 stars. There were a little error in this book, mostly about the spacing. This book is well edited. I recommend this book to readers who are looking for a book about the history of human according to bible, and a religious one. Get ready for the revelations about the End of Days.
