Lemoncella Cocktail by Rene Natan is a roller coaster ride of a story, and we are in it every step of the way! Patrick, a young man with no direction, makes an instinctual move and saves a girl from drowning in a river he is walking by one day. Little did he know that this act of heroism results in plenty of opportunities to improve his life, but also leaves him vulnerable. Sam's attempted killers will attack again. With Patrick on board to help find the men behind this stunt, his new life begins. This work of fiction will give you a dose of mystery, thrill and romance.

To begin, I really enjoyed Lemoncella Cocktail because the character development of each character was done flawlessly. It was easy to form a relationship with almost all of the characters. Even the antagonists in the story were almost all well rounded individuals with real life problems. Aside from Oscar, who was demented and immoral, each character had a sense of humility unique to their own personality.

If I could change on thing I would want to get more insight in the lives and stories of Sam, Justin and Amelia's parents. I found myself wanting more of their story. Why did they leave their children with their grandmother? Though the answer could be found, it wasn't very convincing. It seems like their absence is easily taken by the family, while in most modern day families that kind of absence would be a much bigger deal.

I give this book a 3 out of 4 stars. I would have given it 4 out of 4 stars if it hadn't been for the multiple grammatical and spelling errors in the book. Sometimes I had to stop to piece together what the author was trying to say. Some would argue that a 2 out of 3 would be sufficient but I enjoyed the book so much that I just can't give it anything lower than 3. I read this book in less than two days. It was so good!

Overall, this book was a great read! Aside from grammatical and spelling errors, the story was easy to follow with twists in the story that kept you on your toes. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys mystery or thriller stories, and even those who like romance novels. I found this book well rounded enough that I think it satisfies many genres all in one text. Great work!
