[Following is a volunteer review of "When Business Is Love" by Jan Ryde.]
"When Business is Love," written by Jan Ryde, is a non-fiction book that tells a story about a small family company in Sweden by Pehr Adolf. After beginning the business by producing saddles, Pehr Adolf focused on producing beds and mattresses. Under Jan Ryde's direction, the firm has overcome numerous obstacles and changes to emerge as the top manufacturer of beds and mattresses globally. By improving sleep quality, the author shares his passion for his business, clients, and people. Love was invested in creating and designing the Hasten beds. According to the author, a business should be operated based on unadulterated love rather than condemnation, comparison, and blame. As a result, he characterizes Hasten as a firm that operates on the principles of excellence, mastery, and, most importantly, love. The author points out the harmful effects of stress. The quality of any good or service that a company offers might be seriously harmed by stress.
One of the book's highlights is how well he described how his ideas were implemented in the business, making it simple for anybody who wants to apply these ideas to their organization to do so. It is well-edited as well. The author employs a sound, tried-and-true business and life philosophy. I enjoy this book because of its captivating life and career teachings. The author was honest about the unusual difficulties individuals or groups may face while establishing and operating a business.
The only thing that I didn’t like in this book was the repetition of certain concepts. However, at times, the reader may feel as though they aren't discovering anything new because the fundamental theme—which emphasizes wealth and love—is repeated so much. The book's editing was very professional; even after a thorough examination, I couldn’t find any errors in it. I’ll rate it 5 out of 5 stars. I’ll suggest this book to those who want to be successful in their business life. It is a must-read for people who have a passion for business.
