WatchDogs Abnormal Beginnings by Mike L. Junior takes readers on an intriguing journey into a post-apocalyptic world filled with abnormals—individuals possessing extraordinary abilities, hunted by those who fear them. Kaarina and Lamont, two abnormals, fought for their lives and aspired to join a guild for survival. Along their journey, they encountered Cole, who had been deceived and betrayed, adding complexity to their mission. The narrative unfolds as characters like Kaarina, Lamont, and Cole navigate a perilous existence, seeking refuge and forming unexpected alliances. The book immediately draws readers into the plot, setting the stage for a tale of survival, adventure, and mystery. The author develops each character's unique abilities, providing a clear and commendable description of their skills.

I really loved this book. It delves into the challenges faced by the characters as they strive to survive in a hostile environment. The author vividly describes the dangers they encounter, emphasizing the struggle for survival in different zones, including a particularly spine-chilling episode in the danger zone. Throughout the narrative, the characters develop strong bonds despite facing immense struggles and betrayals. Kaarina, Lamont, Cole, and others form a supportive group, each with a tragic past and a desire for a better future. The story also introduces characters like Warren, Jax, and Amanda, who contribute to the group dynamics.

I found only one error in this book, which shows that it was professionally edited. While the story boasts a flawless and outstanding narrative, I still find some of the dialogue challenging to follow. The lack of clarity in identifying the speaker and understanding some conversations detracts from an otherwise engaging experience. Despite this drawback, the novel earns a solid 5 out of 5 stars for its captivating storyline.

WatchDogs Abnormal Beginnings appeals to a diverse audience, offering elements of fantasy, action, mystery, and adventure. Readers who appreciate characters with special talents will find this book a compelling read, despite the occasional difficulties in tracking the discussions.

Technology has impacted a lot in our society. But, it's not without it's flaws. A very minor mistake while setting up a technological program is enough to ruin the entire project. In this book the aftermath of failed science was the major plot
