[Following is a volunteer review of "We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies" by Matthew Tysz.]
The book immerses me in a world of magic, where we have kings, magicians, and knights who only have a desire for power and magic, and whose intentions are vague and selfish. The subjects covered in the book are complicity, sincerity, wisdom.
We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies by Matthew Tysz is a special book that tells the story of a young boy named Galen who goes to meet his dying uncle in order to inherit his blacksmith business. After the heavy oppression and famine he faced in the land of princes, he managed to escape to a prestigious country called Voulhire. This allows him to embark on a quest for fortune in a country he knows less about. This book teaches us a lot about the moral values we should have in society.
I like the presentation of the book in content and form. I really appreciate the narrative strategy used by the author to immerse the reader in the heart of the matter. The story is loaded with fiction. The demonstration of magic in the book makes it look like a film. I loved Lord Eldus' dedication and determination to save the town of Hillport. The way Matthew Tysz used the characters in his story is fabulous. The inclusion of magical elements throughout the book is phenomenal. I also add that the detailed descriptions of the mage Meldorath and Beth are appreciable. There is nothing to say or review, much less modify, in this book. He is simply perfect. I loved everything from start to finish. There are no grammatical errors to report. It’s professional work.
These are the reasons why I give this book 5 stars out of 5. This book is fantastic and well written with wonderful development. However, there are only some profanities and rare light erotic scenes that may disturb some readers. I highly recommend this book to any readers who love fiction, as it is packed with magical action.
