Stevie’s parents had rules, and he had to abide by them whether he understood them, liked them, or not. One such rule is early bedtime. So, Stevie hatched a brilliant plan to prolong his bedtime routine and help him fall asleep in a creative way.

Stevie Tenderheart Books A Second Kiss Goodnight (A Bedtime Story) by Steve William Laible is a book meant for all enthusiastic readers ready to embark on a creative journey to a brilliant bedtime routine.
Stevie dislikes going to bed in broad daylight. Hence, he hatches a brilliant plan to extend his bedtime routine. He leaves a wishful note in a special tree, calling upon all the animals and creatures in his neighborhood for help.

I thoroughly enjoyed the book. Stevie Tenderheart’s books are always a delight to read. Instead of bickering about the early bedtime rules made by his parents, Stevie found a new way to prolong and enjoy his bedtime routine. It is hilarious how Stevie is worried about getting his head punctured by the long, sharp, giant, and bucked-teeth of moose, goose, and cow when they kiss him goodnight. This shows his humorous disposition.

The book is not only entertaining but informative as well. For instance, Stevie talks about cows and their number of bellies. One more advantage is that this book is a fun way of teaching new animal names to the children, the importance of a good night kiss, and they get to learn new words like BOLO, which have a significant use in their day-to-day lives. The ruckus the long line of animals create while waiting to give a good-night kiss has also been extensively covered in a whimsical way.

Overall, this is a wonderful addition as a bedtime story for children. Having read previous Stevie Tenderheart books, this one most definitely lives up to the expectations. I give this book 5 out of 5 stars as there is nothing to dislike in the book. The book has been exceptionally edited; hence, no mistakes were made. Ideal for young minds who wish to make their bedtime routine memorable.
