"Timewise" delves into the intriguing realm of time travel through the eyes of its protagonist, Ron Larsen, an orphan navigating life's complexities while grappling with the enigma of time. As the narrative unfolds, Ron's journey from adolescence to adulthood is intricately woven with themes of love, ambition, and scientific exploration.

The book opens with Ron's humble beginnings in foster care, where his love for chess and chance encounter with Regina Russo, a mysterious figure with a profound influence on his life, set the stage for a captivating tale of discovery. Ron's journey takes a pivotal turn when Regina offers to sponsor his college education, igniting a partnership fueled by a shared passion for unraveling the mysteries of time.

Narrated from Ron's first-person perspective, the reader gains intimate insight into his character, flaws, and motivations. While this perspective adds depth to Ron's portrayal, some of his actions may prove divisive among readers, underscoring the complexity of his character.

A standout aspect of "Timewise" is its incorporation of romance into the narrative, adding depth and emotion to Ron's journey. The vivid descriptions crafted by Robert Leet immerse readers in the world of time travel, creating an engaging and immersive reading experience.

However, the book's pacing leaves something to be desired, with a significant portion of the narrative dedicated to Ron's mundane experiences before delving into the heart of the plot. Additionally, the extensive exposition of Regina's theories on time travel may overwhelm readers unfamiliar with physics, detracting from the overall enjoyment of the story. I found no errors in this book.

Despite these shortcomings, "Timewise" remains a compelling read, earning a commendable rating of 4 out of 5 stars. While the inclusion of scientific theories may prove challenging for some readers, the book's exceptional editing and engaging plot make it a worthwhile venture for fans of science fiction. However, due to its mature content, the book may not be suitable for young readers.

My first glance at the cover of this book did not give the impression of an interesting read. However from your review I think this book is worth giving a shot as they are lessons to be learned from Ron's life.

Ron must be a brilliant kid for him to be noticed by Regina. He might not have gone far if Regina had not noticed him and funded his education. I'd like to read this inspiring story.
