Winning the War on Cancer
Sylvie Beljanski

This book is both pessimistic and optimistic. Sylvie Beljanski describes the world's red tape and immovable stance against what seems to be a world-changing fight against cancer (and other terrible ailments). Unfortunately, the bureaucracy holding back this essential help is concerned with the monetary losses this simple supplement would have on the cancer industry. Yet I feel a tentative optimism; her purported cure for cancer seems to be steadily seeping into the minds of important people. Due to her hard work, things are beginning to change, and she now has many followers and campaigners. The world is becoming greener, so minds might change regarding natural medicines and supplements. Her father's research was so important. Sylvie is continuing his legacy.

The book develops well and includes her fight with bureaucracy (the reader will be astounded by the amount of red tape surrounding the world of natural medicine) and her own personal matters. There are little flashbacks to her youth, which add background and depth to her story.

This book could have been over-complicated with medical terminology and inundated with names, biology, dates, etc, but it wasn't. Sylvie Beljanski wrote well, and I found no grammatical errors. The essential supplement 'pau Pereira' should be there for all during cancer (it has also been used in cases of HIV AIDS), and I hope it will be accepted sooner rather than later. I can only hope that, at one point, she will be listened to by the powers that be. I originally awarded this book only 4 out of a 5-star rating: I now feel that I would rather give it a full 5-star rating as I realise that this book is important and should be taken seriously by all those hoping to find a cure for cancer. I would like to thank Sylvie Beljanski for devoting her life to this work. This book is suitable for all readers.
