Solaris Seethes
by Janet McNaulty

In Janet McNulty’s epic space thriller the Solaris Seethes depicts Love, Trust, Betrayal and the hope of Revenge. Overwhelm with sadness Rynah had no choice but to watch the destruction of her planet and narrowly escaping with her life. Rynah was not one to believe in folklore, but with the help of four strangers from another planet Rynal and Solaris embark on a series of adventures that will forever change Rynah’s view on an ancient legend. The ancient legend is Rynah only hope of saving what is left of her planet Lanyran.

When revenge is ever present in your mind nothing else matters much, and sometimes this can be harmful to others. Rynah had to learn this important lesson the hard way. It is important not judge someone’s character without actually hearing their story.

I like that the Solaris Seethes take you on a journey and you feel like you’re a part of the adventure itself. I did not like the beginning of the book because it was a bit boring but I said to myself I just started reading, that’s not much to judge something on so I continued reading I am glad I continued. What I found most interesting in the book were the descriptions of the different locations the characters visited. They were most magnificent it is as if you were actually there, which is what the writer wants to achieve. However I did not like the fact that Rynah was not very skilled in hands on combat. I hope she gets some lessons in the next book.

I rate Solaris Seethes 3 out of 4 stars. I did not rate it 2 stars because it is a pretty good book once you start to be a part of it. I did not rate it 4 stars because the book ended too soon. This book might not be suitable for a mature audience unless they are definitely into science fiction. However it would appeal more to teens or young adults. Readers are in for a treat with this adventure filled novel. I believe this book would make an awesome movie.

To be honest I only found one error which might not be worth mentioning I believe a word might be missing otherwise the book is error free. I would most definitely recommend this novel to upcoming teens or young adults who are into science fiction. It has the right amount of drama. I give Solaris Seethes 3 out of 4 stars and I am looking forward to the next book in the saga.
