Soul Seeker by Kaylin McFarren introduces readers to Benjamin Poe's harrowing journey as he grapples with the aftermath of a tragic fire and his son Gabriel's confession to three deaths. The narrative intertwines Poe's story with the otherworldly encounters of Crighton, a demon tasked with capturing the souls of the wicked by Lucifer himself.

McFarren's skillful storytelling captivates readers with its exploration of themes like loyalty, morality, and the complexities of familial love. The introduction of supernatural elements adds depth and intrigue to the narrative, providing readers with a unique perspective on the challenges faced by otherworldly beings.

The book's seamless blend of the human and supernatural realms ensures a compelling read for fiction enthusiasts, transcending religious affiliations and appealing to a wide audience. Despite its dark themes, the story is presented in a thrilling manner that maintains a universal appeal. It is important to state that there was absolutely nothing that I hated about this book. Everything about it was just perfect and on point.

The author's prowess is evident in the polished narrative, with the book properly edited to enhance the reading experience. I found no grammatical errors in it. This proves how committed the author is to delivering a well-polished job. My favorite thing about the book was the way the author inculcated suspense in the horror. This left me wanting for more, and flipping through each page became rewarding.

I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars for its gripping plot, well-developed characters, and seamless blend of supernatural and human experiences. It is a captivating read that will leave readers eagerly turning pages until the very end. I couldn't remove a star because there was nothing tangible enough that would allow me to do so. As I mentioned earlier, I found nothing negative in it, so it deserves a perfect rating. I recommend this book to readers who enjoy books filled with suspense and horror.
