Reconfigurement by E. Alan Fleischauer is an excellent self-help book for middle-aged Americans. Insurance plans can become complicated. We tend to skip it. Not anymore! This book covers many key elements we often neglect in our busy lives.

This book’s perspective is different from the other self-help books. It focuses on using the left and the right brain at the same time. The goal of this book is to help Americans reconfigure their life in the best possible way.

Fleischauer begins the book by discussing the importance of money. The spending limit increases as we age. The author says that only one-third of American households have a financial plan for the upcoming year.

The beginning pages of Reconfigurement focus on finding your career based on a career aptitude assessment. The book had many website links for the readers to discover career choices based on their personality.

The self-assessment section was very informative and inspiring. I was very much inspired and took up the assessment. The results were surprising. You should try it.

In the latter chapters, Fleischauer explained all the policies needed to live a peaceful life. The author sprinkled humour wherever possible. It made the book fun to read. The author often talked about planning early for a healthy and enjoyable retirement.

The author discussed health insurance, paying for travel, saving up for future generations, and more. Reconfigurement clearly explained every type of insurance policy for Americans. It can help them in the long run. The author broke down complex ideas in an easily understandable manner through humour and wit.

I enjoyed reading this book. It wasn’t vague or boring. The author knew how to make this book exciting and educational. The short paragraphs and the bulletin points made it fun to read.

Reconfigurement isn’t the usual type of book we read. It was different. The writer communicated with the reader through expressions. Fleischauer connected with the reader very well.

I didn’t find anything negative about this book. I loved all the chapters of it. Talking about all kinds of insurance can be dry. The author made it as enjoyable as possible.

I rate Reconfigurement 5 out of 5 stars. I have no reason to rate this book less than the given rating. The book was professionally edited. I didn’t come across any errors. The editing was top-notch.

I recommend this book to the American society. All the concepts focused on America’s policies. You can still read and gain awareness even if you’re not from there. Take the career assessment test now!
