Reconfigurement: Reconfiguring Your Life at Any Stage and Planning Ahead is an educative and informative book that explains how workers looking to retire should think of their retirement time. The author conceptualizes the term ''retirement,” as derailing from the conventional interpretation. He advocates for a definition of retirement characterized by the opportunity to be free and enjoy life more than one's working days. However, for this to happen, one needs to plan ahead for the financial resources needed by introducing the term he coined as ‘reconfigurement’, which involves adopting sustainable use of one’s current earnings and availing of investments, insurance, and job opportunities for a better retirement time. The author is an experienced financial advisor who has been in the field for over 20 years, and he wishes to use his experience to educate people on how to make sustainable use of money so that the future provides the supposed enjoyment he deems fit for one’s retired years. The book covers the what, why, and how of understanding reconfiguration.

The book is great from many indications; the applicability of its message to any category of person is one quality that would make it appeal to many audiences. It can also be read easily by anyone who has the ability to read and understand, as the content is not written with a professional tone. Humor is also sprinkled throughout the book. Anyone who is just starting to read novels should start with easily comprehensible books like this. Despite the informal tone the author used, the book does not compromise in providing readers with the financial strategies it promised to give. I came to understand some financial tools and terms, such as disability insurance and terms like 401k investments. I don't have anything to pick as a flaw in this book. The book, furthermore, authenticates the facts and figures mentioned by showing sources.

The book earns a rating of 5 out of 5 stars from me. I have also found no grammar errors in the book. The book would be greatly useful to people who have secured employment and settled lives. Also, youths who are not working yet can read it to gain financial education that would be useful for them in the near future.
