[Following is a volunteer review of "The Divinely Sinful Saints" by Itotko.]
The Divinely Sinful Saints by Itotko is a unique thought-inducing non-fiction based on the Old and New Testament scriptures using the King James version of the Bible. The book discusses paradoxes, symbolism, reincarnation, and faith. It poses interesting questions that might naturally come to most people's minds while reading the Bible. The author offers a provocative examination of theological issues related to the Bible, the idea of paradise, and various other topics.
In the book, the author challenges readers to examine their own beliefs and decisions as they consider difficult discoveries and ethical dilemmas. Although the author does not shy away from depicting the darker aspects of human nature, he also declines to look at faith and reprieve. The commentary provided by the author is remarkable and insightful, allowing readers to delve into their minds and deduce their sources of inspiration. It also provides insight into various cultures and traditions. The approach of the author is rational and thought-provoking, offering biblical texts that defy accepted interpretations, giving a new window of view to look at for open-minded people.
I loved how the book probed various ambiguous ethical circumstances. How it wants and makes you approach the scriptures with a more scientific and practical perspective rather than taking them at face value.
I would give this book 5 out of 5 stars. The book is exceptionally well-edited and beautifully written. It has been a very engaging and enlightening read. There is nothing I can criticize about this amazing book. It's been a journey of critical thinking and analysis. It emphasizes that, for someone to grasp the true meaning of the scriptures, they need to understand and delve deeply into the words and between the lines instead of simply putting their confidence and trust into reading what is written. They should take the time to gather information and look for any hidden messages.
I would recommend The Divinely Sinful Saints by Itotko to adult readers who like books that make them question things and invoke their thought processes and critical thinking. Although the book revolves around the Old and New Testament scriptures using the King James version of the Bible strictly, it cannot be called a Christian book. If anything, some might claim it to be just the opposite. The author has tried to present the readers with a different point of view and interpretation of the biological events as noted in the Bible. It can and should be read by everyone, whether a Christian or a non-Christian, a theist or an atheist. It is an amazing book for people who like reading about philosophy and religion.
