Karmic Selling is a non-fiction book. In this book, the author talks about his business as a consultant and how he has been successful by helping others around him. Being a Six Sigma Master Black Belt, the author talks about his experience at the corporate level at the beginning of his career. He describes his time there as stressful, chaotic, and colorless. Later, a brutal car accident shifted his entire perspective. From that moment onwards, the author decided to leave the corporate environment and start his consulting firm.

He started his firm with the belief in karmic selling. It means doing business with a clean heart and developing a helping mindset. He believes that when you do good and help others without a personal agenda, the good comes back to you tenfold. The book highlights the importance of putting others’ needs before your own and establishing an authentic rapport with them. It also focuses on the importance of connecting with people while building a business.

There were quite a few things I liked about the book. First, I loved the idea of doing good without being selfish. It propagates a healthy and happy message. Second, it also includes a lot of personal instances, which adds a lot more value to the book. For example, the author's meeting with a client in Boston was very insightful, as it highlighted the importance of winning trust. The book also propounded that confidence is the key to a successful business and relationship. It also includes reflection exercises at the end of every chapter, which were insightful.

There was nothing that I disliked about this book. There were no typos or grammatical errors in the book. The editing of the book seemed flawless. The sentences were easy to understand and interpret. I would recommend everyone to read this book at least once. For the reasons mentioned above, I rate the book 5/5 stars.
