[Following is a volunteer review of "Karmic Selling" by Stan Gwizdak.]
Karmic Selling by Stan Gwizdak provides a detailed framework that presents new insights into the sales process. This book focuses on two key principles that can enhance and transform your selling approach. It offers proven strategies for successful business interactions and building enduring relationships, regardless of your client's identity, their previous experiences, or location. Through engaging personal anecdotes, Stan establishes a strong basis for individuals to shift from traditional selling to a more ethical approach grounded in karma. Curious to learn more? Stan provides an in-depth exploration of the psychological and physical preparations needed for successful sales. He illustrates the critical mindset needed to impact the connection between the seller and buyer, thereby creating opportunities to assist and sell simultaneously. You will gain valuable insights on key focal points for encouraging clients to open up, share their challenges, and have their needs met. This book not only addresses how to approach clients before, during, and after securing a contract but also offers wisdom on building confidence, handling failure and rejection, and developing trust in the process.
An appealing feature of this book is that it is an interactive session. First, the author adds diversity to this book by including personal accounts of people like Jeff Lindow, Mike Harris, and Kelly Short, whom he has collaborated with, inspired, or assisted. Second, he provides a concise summary of each chapter, highlighting key points that serve as important takeaways for the reader. Third, the interactive exercises within every chapter create a sense of being guided by an expert firsthand. Fourth, the inclusion of reference materials like books and websites allows the reader to explore more independently. Lastly, the seamless interconnectedness of the chapters results in a flawless reading experience.
The editing team did a good job, as I encountered only two typing errors. There is nothing I dislike about this book to deny it a perfect rating. I hereby rate this book five out of five stars because it is insightful and educational. I recommend it to all salespeople out there!
