Review of Chrome Mountain

[Following is a volunteer review of "Chrome Mountain" by Ben Schneider.]
The Chrome Mountain, written by Ben Schneider, is an action thriller that takes readers through different elements like love, technology, terrorism, and gangsters. This book contains a total of 30 chapters. Firstly, we are introduced to one of the protagonists, Sonya McCall, who used to be part of a malicious biker gang called the Screaming Demons. She decides to leave the gang due to their criminal activities and mistreatment by their leader, Levi. Then we are introduced to the other protagonist of the book, Trey Radisson, a scientist tormented by recurring nightmares related to his invention of a cloaking device. Disturbed by the dream and the potential consequences of his invention falling into the wrong hands, Trey decides to destroy his invention, VV1, with a mallet. While Sonya tries to run away and escape from the biker gang, Trey runs from the terrorist organization called the Chrome Falcons. Amidst all the chaos, Sonya and Trey are destined to meet each other and help each other protect themselves, imbuing the narrative with a wealth of action and suspense.
I really enjoy this book. The characters are well-developed, especially Sonya's character. Sonya is depicted as a brave, resourceful, and determined girl, unlike most other generic female characters. On the other hand, Trey is portrayed as a sincere human being. He destroys the cloaking device and its research notes, symbolizing his rejection of the pursuit of personal success at the expense of potential harm to others. Both protagonists are opposite to each other, which is a captivating and interesting element. I appreciate the author for perfectly conveying the emotions, confusions, and conflicts of the characters. Last but not least, the action sequences in the book are very captivating. The chases, the bike stunts, everything is presented in an exceptional way as if they are happening in front of our eyes.
There is nothing to dislike about this book. This book contains profanity. The editing of the book is exceptional, making it free from errors. For all these reasons, I give this book 5 out of 5 stars. I wholeheartedly recommend this book to people who love action-packed novels.
