“How to be a SuperStar Salesperson” by Audri White is a mini guidebook designed to help you learn the art of becoming an exceptional salesperson. This concise yet powerful book emphasizes the fundamentals of salesmanship. It also delves into strategies for consistently closing deals. With just 27 pages, the book is a quick read that can transform your approach to selling in a single sitting.

I like the book for several reasons.

I chose to read this book out of curiosity, given my experience as a print salesperson. I am pleased with my decision because it not only reinforces the foundational knowledge I already possess but also offers valuable insights into enhancing the persuasiveness and compelling nature of my pitches.

The book outlines proven sales frameworks such as SPIN, CAPI, and more. One aspect I find particularly helpful is the section on handling objections. Since I struggle in this area, it offers strategies for effectively addressing objections during sales interactions. I also appreciate how adeptly the author handles breaking the ice with prospects through relaxed and natural conversations. The usage of ample examples throughout the book also enhances its relatability.

The book gets right to the point—it is concise and straightforward. There is no beating around the bush or unnecessary filler. Furthermore, I did not encounter a single error, which shows that the book is exceptionally well-edited.

I thoroughly enjoyed the book and disliked nothing about it. Therefore, I give it a rating of 5 out of 5.

This book is an excellent resource for those aspiring to break into sales, offering valuable insights and strategies to kickstart their career in the field. It is equally beneficial for seasoned professionals, providing fresh perspectives to enhance their approach to sales. Additionally, this book is a valuable tool for anyone seeking to improve their communication skills. Even if sales is not your primary focus, the principles outlined in this guidebook are universally applicable, as persuasion is a skill we all use, whether advocating for ideas or expressing opinions. The strategies presented in this book will help make your words and opinions more compelling.
