Roadmap to the End of Days by Daniel Friedmann provides an insightful analysis of various theories regarding the end of the world. It is a non-fiction exploration of the timeline of the Divine Plan. Most of the information used in this exploration comes from a Hebrew perspective. This book was very interesting to read, as the end of the world is something that everyone has an opinion on. Controversy surrounds the subject. Each religion provides its own interpretation, but which one is the most likely? Friedmann does an impressive job of breaking down the different time periods of history and beyond in order to explain the great glass maze that we are all traveling through.
Friedmann’s account of the end of days begins with a metaphor: we are all searching for the end of a great glass maze. History has provided a number of twists, turns, and bumps along the way. The question arises: are we trapped in a never ending maze, or will this great maze eventually lead to an exit? Friedmann is of the opinion that there is, in fact, a final exit.
In the chapters to follow, Friedmann follows a timeline of events, most of which have some reference to scripture. He lays out a number of different ways the world could end and the ways in which we quickly approach this apocalypse. Friedman leaves the reader with a final question: what now? What do we do with this vital information regarding the future of our planet? Friedmann’s suggestions are both insightful and thought-provoking.
This book is uniquely interesting because it includes a number of tables, charts, and diagrams to help make its points. One could easily grasp concepts discussed within the text by simply studying these visual aids. This book is also exceptional in the fact that it covers complicated religious topics very deeply, but explains such topics in a way that is easy to understand even by those completely unfamiliar with religion. Friedmann did an excellent job of making his point as simply and concisely as possible.
I am rating Roadmap to the End of Days a 4 out of 4 because it is interesting and easily readable. Readers do not need to be religious scholars in order to grasp the concepts Friedmann discusses. I was thoroughly impressed with this book. As someone who is not particularly interested in religious topics, I was captivated by this account of the end of the world. I would recommend this book to anyone who lives on this planet, as they will all be affected by possible events discussed in this book.

Hey, can I call you Hello Kitty? Reminds me of the old days when anything Sanrio was the rage.
