Are you unhappy with your job? Are you just drifting along? Are you pursuing your dreams? Are you with the love of your life or settling for safety and security? Do you wish you could travel and explore but always find reasons not to? Do you have a secret passion you've never pursued? If you've answered yes to even one of these questions and no to others, the book suggests it's time for a shift in your life. "From Drift to SHIFT" by Jody B. Miller addresses the universal desire to feel valued and find purpose in life. It emphasizes that if something matters to you so much that it motivates or bothers you, you should consider making a change.

The book starts by addressing the common problem many people face: feeling unfulfilled and worthless in their work and personal lives, which leads to a downward spiral. "From Drift to SHIFT" teaches you how to ask yourself the right questions and recognize opportunities to pursue your true purpose, both professionally and personally.

One of the core messages of the book is the importance of seeking a life of meaning. It tells readers to be curious about themselves and to have the courage to find the answers that will help them be who they're meant to be. Additionally, the book advises readers to take charge of their lives and make choices actively, rather than just letting things happen by chance.

The book also highlights the importance of taking action and making choices in life, regardless of the outcome. It argues that every decision we make, good or bad, leads us in a new direction or towards a goal. The key is to act and move forward, rather than staying stuck and not progressing towards our true selves.

One of the most fascinating aspects of the book is the overlap it presents. It follows the lives of eight individuals whose paths cross and converge, even though they have never met each other. The author serves as the only link between them, sharing their challenges and showing how they are interconnected.

In conclusion, "From Drift to SHIFT" is a compelling read that offers valuable insights and practical guidance for anyone feeling lost or stuck in their life. There's nothing I dislike about this book. The book is flawlessly edited. Thus, I rate it 5 out of 5. The book encourages readers to take control, ask the right questions, and make meaningful shifts towards a more fulfilling and purposeful life. Whether you're unhappy in your job, struggling in your relationships, or simply feeling lost, this book provides the tools and inspiration to help you find your way.

I liked the idea of the book. The step of change, as difficult as it is, it is important. And also the considerations that come as a result of the decision to change a career or a way of living. I enjoyed the way you presented the points of the book Anu.
Life is hard on its own so let's make it easier for each other if we could.

It sounds like an interesting book that can help readers move toward their goals when they feel stuck in life. The book gives practical advice on how they can do that. I think I may skip the book for now though. Thank you for your review! Looking forward to reading more from you!
