Review of Army Life

[Following is a volunteer review of "Army Life" by Darryl Jefferson.]
Normally I read Science Fiction and Fantasy galore, but this book seemed rather interesting. I am glad I did read this. I saw through the author's own eyes his journey from high school student to an officer in the US Armed Forces. Being a disabled lady, I am barred from serving in the various branches of my country of origin's military forces. Even though the author served in the US Armed Forces, I still learned rather a lot. One reason I read books!
I had the great privilege of seeing with my own eyes the journey Mr Jefferson had as an individual with Asperger's syndrome as he went through military training and served in two wars. Reading what he experienced and how he developed as a human being is, at least to me, an incomparable honour. His story is an inspiration to those with disabilities.
He has shown that it doesn't matter if you are disabled or autistic in anyway. If you put your mind to what you wish to accomplish, anything can be achieved!
