Hi Jennifer, yes that's why I was so excited to read this book as it's not a topic I've seen. The errors did distract me a lot, but the captivating story kept me going.Jennifer Coxon wrote: ↑19 Apr 2024, 13:51 Thank you for your detailed review. The Vietnam war doesn't feature much in English history so it is always something I am interested in hearing more about. I like it when different types of characters are interwoven in a story line to provide different perspectives of the same incidence. However, I would get annoyed by the errors.

That's it, Alice. I did learn so much from this book, which was, at times, quite confronting. The contrasting stories were definitely eye-opening.Alice Heritage wrote: ↑22 Apr 2024, 00:13 What an interesting idea to write about the aftermath of the war from the points of view of three contrasting players. This sounds like the kind of book one could learn a lot from. It's a shame there were mistakes with character names - a common error, unfortunately.

Hi Tomy, if you are interested in stories from the Vietnam War, you will enjoy this book.Tomy Chandrafrost wrote: ↑28 Apr 2024, 21:41 Vietnam War has always intrigued me ever since I read one of the historical fiction books from a military perspective. I feel like I need more sources about this. This book was interesting because it provided the impact of the Vietnam War from three different perspectives, including the local population. Your review makes me even more eager to read this book. Thank you for writing this.

Hmmm, the American government is clearly displayed at the villain in these stories, the people affected by them, I guess are the victims. But I get what you're saying. Thanks for reading my review and your kind words.Omneya Shakeep wrote: ↑Today, 18:05 I'm not much of a war book fan, but I like the idea of presenting the POV of both sides without trying to victimize one and villainize the other. I enjoyed reading your review; your summary and analysis of the book are remarkable.
