[Following is a volunteer review of "Snatched Up to Heaven!" by Jemima Paul and Arvind Paul.]
Snatched Up to Heaven! by Jemima Paul and Arvind Paul is the story of two little girls who had a dream about heaven. The scripture says, “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.” This is what happened to four-year-old Priyanka and two-year-old Deepika. At a young age, they were blessed with the experience of seeing the Almighty God and all His pure creations.
This book is a compilation of the sisters’ vivid visions of heaven and hell. The girls’ mother, Jemima, included her interpretations of her children’s visions and compared what they had seen with what the Bible said.
When I was a young girl, around Priyanka’s age, I believed I was a princess because I was a daughter of God. And when I was a teenager, I believed that God was my best friend. I don’t go to church anymore now that I’m an adult, but I’ve always had a close relationship with God. So, this book resonated with me and reminded me of a memory of a time when I dreamed of heaven.
There was nothing I disliked about this book. However, I would like to note that people skeptical about kids visiting heaven and hell in their dreams might not want to read this book. Some people might find the story fabricated. I know this because I also used to watch videos of people saying they’ve seen heaven, and every time I relayed it to my friends, they quickly doubted the credibility, which is fair because it is easy to fabricate stories. However, I think this book's main point is to share the word of God. It really wouldn’t hurt to believe in something beautiful.
That said, I would rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. The authors' writing styles are very encouraging and easy to read. It was also edited well. This book's reading experiences exuded lightweight feelings, which I immensely enjoyed.
