Review of Passion Struck

[Following is a volunteer review of "Passion Struck" by John R. Miles.]
We live in a society at large; that is a hard truth; our thoughts are not entirely our own; our dreams are judged; and our passions are ridiculed. Society makes life chaotic. It makes life monotonous at the same time. But what happens when one day we get tired of surviving? What if we start living truly, enthusiastically, and, most importantly, happily?
Passion Struck by John R. Miles brings forth a deep-buried intention of living like we dreamt when we were kids—of being unbothered by anyone or anything and being entirely invested in our dreams and passions. The book brings forth several hard-hitting facts and ideas that propel one to live their life's authentic and intended purpose. Passion Struck is not a standard self-help book by definition; it doesn't give a checklist; it rather engages the reader in a conversation; it adds substantial weight to the discussion by bringing facts and figures; and it encourages the development of a perspective. The book also includes life lessons and stories by celebrated personalities like Oprah Winfrey, Jeff Bezos, etc.
The book teaches the reader about the impact of our thoughts on our actions, how words like 'can't' prevents one from embracing their true intentions. The book sets out to inspire people to identify their passion in life, make smart career choices, reflect and work with intention and not like a donkey. Most importantly, the book is a lesson to everyone to actively and truly accept and act on their passions and dreams, something that is hard to do, quite against the nature of the society that we live in, but incredibly fulfilling at the same time. The book makes the reader want to live in the most purest truest sense of the word.
Furthermore, the book is edited in the most professional of manners, with no errors found whatsoever. I'll rate this book a solid 5 out of 5 stars because it gives the reader a chance to reflect and introspect about their life and choices in the most positive manner. It also combines inspiration and practicality through the exercises at the end of each manner. Passion Struck also includes a 12-step roadmap that guides a person to live purposefully and passionately.
