McDowell, with all his achievements had a broken family. He succeeded in his profession but didn't have a peaceful and quiet home to return to. His attitude was another reason for his problems. This book has a lot of lessons embedded in it and it emphasizes how much balance is needed in everything we do to get the most out of life and lead happy lives.
