Have Faith In God But Believe In The Devil
by Glenn R. Thompson

Glenn has shared a collection of short stories to remind us that Satan and his workers are busy every day trying to get us to sin. Many believe that they are headed for hell and aim to take others with them. Every day is a struggle for our everlasting soul. You must choose. Do you believe your true friends who warn you of the consequences of your actions or your false friends who encourage you to do evil, claiming that there is nothing to worry about? But there is good news. The day you accept Jesus as your savior and God as your heavenly father, you win against the Devil and evil. God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are ready to fight alongside you!

Seeing a stranger walking in the rain can lead to unexpected challenges. However, if you feel that God is leading you to offer them a ride, trust in his plan and have faith that he is using you to bless someone in need.

In the Ten Commandments, God explicitly says, "Thou shall not kill". The question is, does this include abortion? Would you want to stand before God and argue, "It is my body, my choice"? Also, God teaches that adultery is against the commandments. If you are in a relationship with a person you are not married to, according to His commandments, you are guilty of adultery. On page 24, Glenn reminds us that Satan's methods are brilliant, he is very gifted concerning evil, and he can convince you that love makes this acceptable. Do not be deceived. That is his specialty to turn family values upside down.

If you are struggling with any addiction, Jesus can help you defeat it! All you have to do is ask him! While raising your children, encourage them to believe in Jesus and God. Believing gives them confidence and someone to call on when they are sad or in trouble. God will send angels to surround and protect them. He will assist them when they struggle with difficult decisions.

Even if we fall, God is always ready to welcome the prodigal son back home with open arms, and the heavens will celebrate the one returning to the fold.

I enjoyed this book immensely. It lightened my spirit to know there is hope for today and eternity. Even if we falter and sin, we can still ask Jesus to intercede with God on our behalf. There is nothing in the book I would change. I will rate this book 5 out of 5. Even though this book is Christ-based, I would recommend it to everyone. It is a short read that will inspire you.
