Layla Rose Wallace, a doctorate student of art history at Harvard is dating a rich Saudi boy named Zamir. Her father also works as a nuclear physicist. She is about to go for the first time to Dubai to meet his parents. Though she is Jew and Zamir is Muslim, she believes that her father raised her to be accepting of all people regardless their religion or color. In their Dubai hotel room, they kidnap Layla together with Zamir, her boyfriend for ransom and take them to Iran. Locked-up at Evin prison, known as ‘hell on earth’ because of the torture and rape of inmates, Layla is at high risk of rape due to her beauty and sexy looks.

Cyrus Hassani is an assistant to the deputy director Oghab2 working under Jalal, a man who raised him as his own son. On the other side Cyrus is a deep-cover agent of Mossad, the national intelligence agency of Israel working as a spy for the Israeli selling nuclear secrets. Jalal sends Cyrus to get Layla out of Evin, interrogate her, and even get closer to her. While in the safe house, Cyrus is activated by Mossad to rescue Layla from Iran and bring her to Israel and if they do not make it, he is to killer her.

Layla and Cyrus find themselves falling in love. x r last or is it just for a while? Will Cyrus rescue Layla and take her safely across the border to Israel?

Escape is very well written, once you start reading, it's very difficult to put down the novel. the cover itself is attractive enough for romance novel lovers. the cover was the first thing that drew me to purchasing this book.There is not even a single editing error in the book that i came across. All the characters a well portrayed and the write up is well connected from the beginning to the end. the ending is perfect. I applaud the author for this beautiful work. The book shows darkness and light simultaneously through its characters.

On the other hand, I would have loved to see the action part more outlined as the story unfolds. Romance and thriller readers will definitely enjoy this book but the action lovers might not love it as much.

I rate this book 3 out of 4 stars. I think the story would suit individuals who just want an enjoyable, sexy romantic thriller with bits of action read. The author writes well and will surely keep you entertained
