The Novel Ravens Peak World On Fire Book 1 by Lincoln Cole is a work of fiction whose theme is on supernatural mythology. It revolves round Haatim a university graduate who initially lost his faith in God due to the death of his sister. And Abigail a young lady who at a very young age was taken in by a secret organization whose primary duty is to combat supernatural threats and keep it unknown from the rest of the world. Abigail is adopted by Author who taught her everything she knew about hunting. She is left devastated as Author is taken by a demon in the process of rescuing her. In trying to rescue Author, Abigail and Haatim's paths intertwine such that Haatim 's life takes a new turn that opens him to a world he never knew exist. Together they unravel mysteries which leads them to Raven's peak.

What I fancied most about this novel was the intricacy in the author's writeup which made me even more entangled while I was reading and this incited curiosity and eagerness that pressured me to persist until I finished reading the book.

Notwithstanding the interesting nature of the novel I yearned for at least some form of intimacy or romance between the two main characters Abigail and Haatim in this part of the novel as I was filled with much suspense hope that something of such would happen and I was sad on realization that there was none and I sincerely hope to find some in the other parts of the novel.

I rate this book a 4 out of 4 stars because of a lot of reasons but what tops the list firstly is the simplicity of the book the way the author simplified his writeup throughout the entire novel and he did this in such a way that enabled me picture clearly with my minds eyes the state of mind and emotions of each of the characters and likewise the obviousness of the surroundings in the book and not to mention the author's choice of words as well as grammatical terms he used in the book which followed in an order that fascinated me even more. I must find time to read the other parts of the book.

Despite being a work of fiction this book has stood out and based on its contents both literary and otherwise,I believe this book most definitely will appeal to any reader but precisely those who enjoy adventuresome tomes especially those of supernatural significance as in the case of this book and so I call on all readers to consider reading this book.
