Sex and the Sixty-Something Guy: Online Post to Bed Post is a very interesting book because it is embedded with lots of flavours of life. As a reader who is particularly interested in forming a relationship with a woman for marriage purposes, you will find a great deal of information regarding dating apps and matchmaking services. The writer, Mr. X, has shared his 64 dates in this book. Most interestingly, he shared the names of the women he dated, along with the titles he gave them. For instance, Ana: A Dream of a First Date, Gloria: A Close-Minded Author, Marea: A Ball of Fire, Anika: Youth Culture Fanatic, and many others. He gave them these titles depending on how he felt about them after dating them.

Mr.X turned out to be a great observer during his dating encounters. He meticulously noted the behaviour of the women he dated. Some dates were encouraging during the initial phases but later could not continue to maintain the same charisma due to something the writer disliked. The downsides of some of the women he dated included things like overdrinking, telling lies, trust issues, insecurities due to past broken relationships, getting too romantic and close in the early phases of a relationship, and many others.

Mr.X  had been a very honest and sincere person in sharing the main message from his book for the amelioration of modern society. After his experience of six-plus years and more than 100 dates, eight relationships, trips to exotic places, five online dating services, three matchmaking services, and random meetings, he highly recommended the traditional way of getting married and making an effort to develop the relationship. He made it clear that dating apps and seeking an ideal partner through them are like a never-ending black hole. One keeps searching for the best partner, which never happens. People use technological features to boost their profiles when, in actuality, they turn out to be very different. Therefore, he ended his book with sincere advice not to rely on dating apps for marriage purposes.

I liked the writing style of the author. He made it look entertaining and interesting by sharing his personal experiences. Many times, he used words that were very direct in terms of sexuality and intimacy. This shows his high involvement in writing the book. Most interestingly, the dating insight sections of the book after every few dates mentioned are very engaging, where Mr.X shared his insight collectively about those dates and what he got out of them.

In terms of errors, I must say the book is exceptionally well edited, and I did not find any errors in the book. Because there are instances of sex and intimacy, I would not recommend it to kids under the age of 16. Based on the captivating content, good use of language, and coherent writing, I would give it a 5-star rating. I highly recommend this book to all the people who depend on dating apps to find the right partner for their marriage. They will find a deeper sense of understanding in this area in this book. It provides a holistic education in this area.

I appreciate all of Mr. X’s advice. It seems to have been written in a sincere attempt to help those who are just entering the dating pool or trying to decide whether or not to use dating apps. Apparently, chance meetings are the way to go even if they are more difficult. Thanks!

I am surprised Mr X took so long to realise this. It could also be because he is much older. What an investment also. To think of the money that was spent on dates and studying woman is alarming. Mr X is quiet a character and that ... is actually what drives this entire book and that's exciting because we all want to know what happens in the end. Great review

It means a lot when it comes from a guy who has had 100 dates that the traditional way of marriage is better. Only it took him that long to realise it. This book would be very helpful for today's generation, as dating is completely digital, like everything. Love and relationships are much more.
Thanks for the review.

The author seems to open up himself to reader's about his dating life completely. This could utilise as example thing, what to do what not to do in the reference of dating life, relationship and marriage stage. Excellent review.

I read this book and enjoyed it soo much. Iys interesting how he talked about all his dates and how each one went. I mostly enjoyed the part about escorts and didn't like that he actually got a girlfriend because she was toxic for him. I loved reading your review

I read and reviewed a book called 28 Disastrous Dates, and it was a similar concept, told from a female's point of view. As for this book, I met my (now) husband on a dating app, it was love at first sight for both of us and we've been together ever since. So I'm going into this book already disagreeing with his summation. it's going to be an interesting read for me.

Your breakdown of the various aspects of Mr. X's dating experiences provides a comprehensive overview of the book's content. The titles given to each date, such as "Ana: A Dream of a First Date" and "Gloria: A Close-Minded Author," add a personal touch that makes the reader feel more connected to Mr. X's journey. It's clear that his keen observations and honesty about his experiences make this book not only entertaining but also educational for those navigating the world of online dating.

Some people need to see the trials and errors of other people before they are convinced of the right path to take. It is generous of the author to share his very personal experiences in trying to find a mate. I would guess that a lot of people will be helped by reading this book. They may not want to reinvent the wheel. Thank you for this well-written and informative review. :techie-studyinggray:

I have not read the book, but after going through your review, I appreciate Mr. X's candid exploration of midlife dating. His honest reflections on the surprises, disappointments, and joys of forming connections provide valuable insights for anyone seeking genuine companionship. The recommendation to prioritize traditional methods over dating apps resonates with the complexities he encountered during his 100+ dates and eight relationships.

It sounds like an interesting book. I wonder if any of the women he has dated know about the book he has written.
However, it sounds, in terms of dating and human views in relationships, rather catching, and I am sure there is an appeal in it to many in a similar life position.
This is not my idea of a book I may spend time on as I feel relationships, especially these types of partner relationships, deserve privacy on all levels.
I am married, and one of the beautiful things about my relationship is that we ( as partners ) barely discuss much with anyone concerning our actual relationship, nor do we use past relationships as a reference point. However, each person to their own, in terms of life experiences.
