The book Roadmap To The End of Days by Daniel Fredmann, first edition 2017,a nonfiction book, written in exposition and exhortation type of literature with a lot of teaching and a bit of narrative in explanation about the historical events and origin of the world, is awesome and mind blowing. It demonstrates biblical timeline of thousand years of human history until today, an Eschatology book in theological terms about the end of life on earth and the hope that lies beyond. It focuses on the past events that occurred, present events occurring and future events to come that connect to the end of the world. It is a high level description of critical events and the corresponding timeline with diagram and tables. If you ignore this book, then you have not yet read books. However, the book must be read with an open mind. Such an approach rewards you with knowledge you cannot easily find in a shortest possible time. It may take you 20 years or more to know what you could have known in only few days in this book. It is awell-researched and made me very comfortable to go on and on to read as a believer in Christ though having started with a critical mind on some few things I was reading which I didn’t really understand, but after I realized the truth in many things the author tackled just from the very beginning in line with the scriptures, I was happy that I picked the right book because the subject of Eschatology is at the center of my heart. I love this study and have read widely about it and somehow I have been defensive several times due to many lies many have expounded on the subject, but not on this one, it is marvelous.

Daniel Fredmann, theauthor, seems to have a fine mind in indeed in English Literature the way he arranged his book ‘Roadmap To The End of Days’. I like his beginning by first showing the praises of the people who recommended his book which shows that he is not an island and does not avoid criticism from other people over what he wrote or hide his understanding and research from great minds seeking recommendation before taking it to the public. He reminds me of Apostle Paul in the Bible who after studying; getting revelations from Saudi Arabian desert where he had gone to study for about 3 years and have time with the Lord; who after that went to Peter and James to authenticate his revelations whether they were in line with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, very important and this is what gives confidence to the readers. I like people who love checks and balances because you cannot not have a revelation only you knows and nobody else. I believe the Holy Spirit speaks to everyone and it is always the word of Christ Jesus; any other contrary word, strong to all and not common to all is not Him who has spoken and you would be the one to be responsible to your own words, not Him. Secondly, on ‘A Note from the Author’, again I like the way he begins with a joke about a child who was asked by his dad what he learnt from Sunday school when he returned home. The author was trying to impress the readers of his book who might already be feeling lazy in heart to look at it further and who could be expecting a boring book with no amount of humor, but not this one. He catered for them the humor early as they say the first cut is the deepest. It is in this part already that he shows what the book was all about that the reader may not be expecting everything to be direct as they are without a simple and different view angle of it, but without changing its meaning or the purpose of the thing being explained. He again shows to the reader that his explanations may not be direct the way we may expect but we will still arrive at the truth at the end of the day because we may still not believe him if he hadn’t mind the scriptures in his explanation. So his way of doing it is to open the reader’s mind on subjects or things that may be very difficult to understand given to be interpreted directly as they are. Thirdly, in ‘Acknowledgements’ he brings his seemingly mentors and helpers in the picture in appreciating them, but openly to our knowledge mentions them by their names not overlooking his wife. This is what made me more comfortable to continue reading the book and see where it was going. Now the following is my detailed review or understanding of the book which I have done, from the first chapter to last chapter which is chapter 10, and the rating the book attracts.

In the first chapter ‘Introduction’ was brilliant. I love the explanation about a glass maze in trying to talk about the end of days. The maze as a path in between, expressing the beginning and the end and the exit. On the‘End of Days’,another subtitle in the first chapter, opens up what defines the title of the book. Here the author continues why he used the example of a ‘maze’ in trying to show the state of the world from the time of creation, the efforts made in the past up until this time and what would happen in the near future possibly in our time concerning the second coming of Jesus Christ, impressive example indeed. In this same chapter the author brings in the talk of other religions that believe differently from the Abrahamic faiths that when a person dies they get reborn in another place in incarnation, but those under the Abrahamic faiths like Christianity, Judaism and Islam having similarities about their belief in the Messiah to come and then specifically singles out two of the three to show the difference that is between them and that is Christianity and Judaism which seem to have beliefs too close to each other. Further, the touches another interesting part on the three Abrahamic religions when it states that in the Quran ‘Tawrat’ is close to Torah and the word ‘Zabur’ close to Psalms and ‘Injil’ close to the teachings of Jesus Christ. Another interesting part the author offers in chapter one is a great understanding of the Jewish year 5777 getting to 6000 which is now 2017 getting to 2240 (5777-6000 and 2017-2240), and this was the first shock to me when I first started to read with a critical mind like I said earlier on. In the first place I couldn’t agree, but when I later understood, I loved the book and was set to go on up to the end and due to this I have ended up getting more knowledge of eschatology than I ever had, great addition to my knowledge indeed.

In the second chapter up until the tenth chapter, the author deals with matters of creation, giving insight to us over events that did happen, looking at the second chapter on subtitle ‘The cosmic purpose and the struggle to achieve it’; It opens up our minds how God created the world and withdrew or concealed Himself so that we could exist and exercise free will. The author has an amazing insight in this where he shows that the extent of the concealment was such that one can even doubt God’s existence. This makes me believe why people were making idols because God could not easily be found especially where there were no major prophets to speak through for people to know what God was thinking or planning. This confirms to me that man has a certain emptiness which he cannot understand which only God can satisfy or fill and He deliberately put it there for man to seek Him so that man can know that he or she needs God in their life. The book goes further in the third chapter on ‘The Messianic Era’ where it gives scriptural foundation or background to the readers to know specific things that would happen and specific people that would be involved, giving foundational issues in line with the word of God. The fourth chapter on the ‘The universal timeline’ dealing with issues of historic nature. The fifth chapter on ‘The rhythm of history: looking back’ dealing with 6000 years in relation to what is now happening; specific issues of history becoming real or evident. The sixth chapter on ‘Looking at recent history’ dealing with happenings in the 20th and early 21st centuries relating events that happened and that are happening now. The seventh chapter on ‘Disclaimer’ showing that the interpretation of history is up to us and the future within our making. The eighth chapter on ‘Messiah is born and becomes king’ dealing with the cosmic placement of events happening now and presently which makes the future look brighter or clearer. On the ‘seventh millennium’, the way the author explains about it here is extremely pleasant to read, stating the events before the millennium comes, gives an example of pregnancy, then labor as the pain to endure during the great tribulation period and then rest as the millennium where you even forget that you were in labor pain looking at the joy that comes after delivery, great example indeed. The ninth chapter on ‘The world to come’ dealing with where we have come from and life in the world to come, and finally The tenth chapter ‘Conclusion where to from here’; Adam, free will, divine providence and the mission of humanity, final thoughts on our rebirth and entry into the seventh millennium. Then the author leaves time and space to open questions to him, brilliant. Also appendix, history glossary, endnotes, figures, tables all make the book end well in knowledge acquisition.

This summarizes my review; the author has an amazing understanding, gift and anointing in scriptural revelation knowledge about the end of days, interpretation and language not difficult to understand. I have found no errors in spelling or grammar probably because I was overtaken by the subject I love most-Eschatology which the author Daniel Fredmann has brought to the world. Therefore I rate this book Roadmap To The End of Days 4 out of 4 stars and urge all book lovers and every humancreature currently existing under the sun and those to come to please take their time to read this book and not just read it but own it and help others own it not just to their book shelves or PCs or to their minds, but to their hearts and consider it as dear as what is most loved in their lives.

Jesus Christ said, take heed that no man deceive you for many will come in my name saying am the Christ. That is a key point. Many will be performing miracles in the name of Jesus but Christ Jesus doesn't know them. We can read through more and more in this book of Eschatology.

I've also read this book as BOTD, my interpretation may have been different but I highly appreciate your views on Abrahamic faiths.

Quinton, thanks for your compliments on my understanding on the subject of Eschatology. I was comfortable to review Fredmann because he did enough research and when somebody is better than you it is good to salute them. The man is great. You may not agree with everything but if you read with an open mind you would find that you were the one who was very much behind.

I honestly don't know much about Eschatology; however, your review helped me understand it a bit.
