Lemoncella Cocktail by Rene Natan is a blend of action, adventure, suspense and romance set in Ontario, Canada. It follows Patrick Carter a formal lifeguard and bartender who wants to live a secluded life, due to his dark past but finds himself entangled in a criminal investigation after he saves a young girl from drowning in a river.

After saving 14-year-old Samantha, Patrick takes her to her grandmother's house where a search party was about to start. What started off as the disappearance of an under aged girl due to mistaken identity turns into attempted murder which led to a full-scale investigation into weapons trafficking, drugs, and murder.

The characters are realistic and engaging, Patrick is down-to-earth and considerate, Emy has finally decided to be herself despite her father's wishes, Jessica Mcleod Sam's grandmother is full of love, generosity and strength.she is an epitome of who a grandmother should be, but she is angry at her son, Brian, and daughter-in-law, Camilla, for choosing career pursuit over raising their kids, Andre Des Pres the head of 'Task Force 101', is a workaholic and a doting husband to Susan, Lucien Borodin and every member of the task force and the police force is portrayed as being extremely dedicated as they leave no stone unturned in the pursuit of Oscar Calander and the other traffickers.

The story reflects the interactions and survival instincts of people in real life situation and the plot twists makes the book captivating and more interesting as the story progresses.I also loved how the murder and romance scenes were described without being too graphic. my only problem with this book is the numerous grammatical errors which made the book a bit difficult to read at times, for instance, "the dog was leaking her face" instead of "the dog was licking her face", "I go change" instead of "I'll go change","stop thinking about only yourself and your carrier" instead of "stop thinking about only yourself and your career" and so many others, basically there is a grammatical error in every chapter which gave me the impression that the book was not properly edited.

I rate Lemoncella Cocktail a 3 out of 4 stars, would have given it a 4 out of 4 but the errors are too much for me to ignore despite that i had fun reading this book and would recommend it for people of all ages especially those who love adventure, crime, action, and light romance genres.
