Did you ever believe unicorns existed? How surprising would it be if not just one but a group lived close to your abode? Unicorn Knows Magic is an alluring children’s book by Charles T. Adkins.

The kids watched as a family of unicorns moved in as neighbors. They narrate that they were from the stars, having come from Mars to the moon and Earth. The book tells of the different abilities of these creatures and their adventures with the kids. The book was written in the form of rhymes and a first-person tone. It was colorful enough to capture kids. The author used words that are very easy for children to comprehend.

The book considered unicorns as magical creatures doing magical things, knowing a person’s mood, and livening up when sad. They were made to act and think like humans. They went to school, read, performed household chores, and did many other fun things. The book considered the unicorn vegans, as they only accepted vegetables as food. The book also mentioned that unicorns were good at flying. The kids were fortunate enough to ride them to several cities. On one of these visits, they met with the Queen in London, who was also perplexed at the sight of a unicorn.

There were no issues I had while reading. The use of poetic devices—in essence, rhymes—was top-notch and made the book unique. The book is also aimed at teaching and exposing children to new vocabulary. Kids would learn some morals from the activities of the unicorns. It was lovely that the kids decided to give the unicorns a farewell gift, and what was more touching was the tears of the unicorns, depicted in the colorings while the song was sung. It was also nice of them to furnish the kids’ house to say their goodbyes. It was edited exceptionally well, as I found no errors. I would love to rate it 5 out of 5 stars.

The book is recommended for children aged 0–4 years. For parents looking for a good color book for their kids, I would recommend Unicorn Knows Magic.
